State Christmas Tree Arrival 2018
The State Christmas Tree arrived at the Alabama State Capitol Thursday, November 29, 2018. The state Christmas tree is an Eastern Red Cedar grown in Bullock County and is approximately 35 feet tall. It was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Allen of Fitzpatrick. The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be held on Friday, December 7, at 5:30 p.m. (Governor’s Office, Lori Davis Jhons)
