A sound economy, today and into the future, is reliant upon a modern and efficient transportation system.  Early in my administration, I made a generational commitment to rebuild Alabama’s aging highways and bridges to meet the demands of both new and growing industry as well as population growth. The Rebuild Alabama Act, which I championed in 2019, has literally paved the way for industrial development and job recruitment all across our state. Over the last four years, we have invested over $170 million on more than 200 infrastructure projects that affect all 67 Alabama counties.  Pardon our progress as we lay the foundation for a more prosperous Alabama!
