Governor Robert Bentley Participates in Launch of New Statewide Severe Weather Alerting System
HUNTSVILLE – Governor Robert Bentley on Wednesday joined with weather experts and other leaders at the launch of Alabama SAF-T-Net, a new, site-specific weather alerting system that will use e-mail, text messaging, and phone calls to warn people of approaching severe weather.

Alabama Exports for 2011 Surge to Highest Level Ever
Alabama’s exports in 2011 continued to grow and recorded the highest-ever total for the value of goods exported during a single year: $17.9 billion, up 15.4 percent from $15.5 billion in 2010.
