David Perry

David Adams Perry is a former attorney with the Birmingham-based law firm Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. Perry also worked in the Finance Department in Governor Bob Riley’s administration, serving as Assistant Finance Director, working with then Finance Director Drayton Nabers, Jr. Subsequently, he also served as outside counsel to the Finance Department on other state finance matters.

Perry graduated with honors from Duke University, having received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy Studies, and is also an honors graduate of Northwestern University School of Law. Perry is a founding board member of the Birmingham Education Foundation. He is also a member of the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama Roundtable.

Perry and his wife have one child and live in Birmingham.
